How it Works
- 25 x Trac Rail Transposer Units
These units were designed, built, tested and patented by McCulloch Rail.
Multiple Units work in tandem to transpose and install rails under controlled conditions.
In order to lift the rail that is going to be laid, or removed, the Trac Rail Transposer has a moveable ram that can traverse from side to side as well as up and down.
Once the rail has been fastened securely into the specially designed roller system the Trac Rail Transposer is manoeuvered forward by its operator.
The ram is still able to manoeuver so that the rail is lined up to its housing at all times.
Once the rail is secured safely in position on the Trac Rail Transposer the machine is capable of laying, or removing, a 709 ft length into its housing in less than SIX minutes in ideal conditions.
